If there’s a favourite to win a future Grammy for Producer of the Year, it has to be our music director Will (AKA Willge). As MD this year, he is the backbone that keeps the group running, leading six hours of rehearsals each week with tireless energy and an ear sharp enough to catch every tiny mistake, all while handling the not-so-glamorous task of babysitting the rest of us and making sure everyone shows up on time. A remarkably prolific composer, Will has already produced numerous classics, and even managed to write our epic Christmas single in less than a week! His arrangement of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire” is particularly heart-rendering: it unfolds in layered, bittersweet harmonies that sends listeners on a full emotional roller coaster, so poignant it could bring even the most stone-hearted to tears. And yes, he sings too. His voice is powerful enough to fill a hall, yet so soothing and sincere that it caresses every listener’s ear like a gentle breeze.
